Gilding class

Once again, I am very grateful to the Restaurierungswerkstätten Berlin for inviting me to one of their restoration courses. Over the past two weekends, the Restaurierungsatelier Broschke gave us exciting insights into the technique of poliment gilding. It's a very demanding and time-consuming process, but knowing about it definitely helps us to appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into some historical works of art.
